Celts looking familar and winning.

It was far from vintage but there was something reassuring about today's 3-0 win over Stirling Albion.

Shunsuke Nakamura returned with another classic goal with strikers Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Scott McDonald also finding the net.

New Bhoy Andreas Hinkel slotted in well although it's too early to claim his as the German Alan Hutton!.

Celts ready to start rocking in 08

The arrival of Andreas Hinkel with Koki Mizuno well on his way things are looking much brighter.

After the sadness and horror of Phil O'Donnel's tragic death we have to get back into action with Stirling Albion a fairly gentle way to start the new year.

Results have to be immediate, we can't afford any more slacking or dropped points but with the arrivals and noises coming from Celtic Park it looks like we are ready for the challenge of making it three-in-a-row.

John Fallon returns to action

Lisbon Lion John Fallon is well on the road to recovery, located at the top of Kerrydale Street, after a hip replacement operation before Christmas.

His recovery is going well with the twin goals of the golf course and Celtic Park tantalisingly close.

Ever popular with Celts throughout the world and a regular at the Las Vegas NAFCSC Conventions, John should be back to full fitness in the next couple of months.

The truth, the whole truth and spin

Celtic retain one of Europe's best goalkeepers and sign up a quality full back but old-meeja have other news for their declining follow-following.

With Artur Boruc and Andreas Hinkel signed up to boost our flagging defence the signs are looking good with Shunsuke Nakamua also nearing a return to action.
